Croeso i Ysgol Gynradd Pentrepoeth-Welcome to Pentrepoeth Primary School Nursery .
It is a pleasure to welcome you and your family to Pentrepoeth Primary School's website and to the life of our school Nursery.
Nursery is a crucial part of a child's journey into education and we are very proud of our Nursery which we opened in January 2018.
Parents want the best possible start in life for their children. Choosing the right school and nursery is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Having our Nursery attached to school allows us to integrate our teaching and promotes continuity for children at this age. All parents will understandably look for a school with the right mixture of high expectations and standards and a welcoming, caring ethos where their child can be happy, thrive and succeed. Pentrepoeth is a school that puts learning and individual achievement at the heart of everything it does. This is reflected in our school's CROESO mission statement - 'a Caring, Respectful and Open Environment where Success and Opportunity flourish'. We want every child to succeed; to achieve their full potential, be prepared for the future and become confident, thoughtful young people. We want the same things that you want for your child. In order to achieve this, we rely on our home-school partnership. We encourage parents and carers to get involved in the life of the school and the child’s educational journey.
We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and highly professional team of teachers and support staff. We expect the very highest standards from all children and our strong school systems ensure that children learn in a safe and friendly environment where teachers teach and learners learn.
I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Pentrepoeth Primary School. Our children amaze me daily with their manners, respect and kindness.
After looking through our website and reading our prospectus please come and see for yourself all that we have to offer you and your child. We would love to see you!
As I write we are in the middle of a period of school closure. As stated in my letter to you we will do all that we can to ensure that your child's admission to school is smooth and seamless and I will be in touch with updated information as this becomes available.
I hope your association with Pentrepoeth is a long and happy one. I look forward to meeting you.
Warmest regards,
Dean Taylor
